Seems every time I really get into writing a story, something disastrous happens.
With Django Blues, it was my busted labtop.
Now with Repo!, I've lost my flash drive, which had the entire thing on it.
Yeah, my luck is awful.
I'll rewrite everything, no worries, but I don't if it'll be as good as before.
I'm still hoping I find my flash drive somewhere, so...optimism?
This is no way to live, guys. xD

For anyone who hasn't heard about the Occupy Wall Street movement that has been going on.
This is what happens if you do not have privilege in this country. This is what happens if you peacefully protest the bullshit that is going on this country. This is what happens when you stand up for yourself in this country.
As a side-note, one of the four women who were pepper-sprayed released a statement afterwards: she and her three companions had been standing on the side-walk as part of the protest when officers suddenly barricaded them in that orange mesh you see in the video.

An End to the Art Block

As you may have noticed, I finally updated the Repo! fic and I plan to update more frequently. I know, I say that all the time, but my creativity is literally causing my hands to itch these days. I have creativity ADD worse than ever. So expect writings and stuff.
It is art times again nao. Check back soon.
Moving On
I broke down and got a new flash drive yesterday. While it isn't as pretty as my old one and doesn't have the memories for me that the old one does, I needed to get one.
This one is firmly affixed to my car/house keys, so I absolutely cannot lose it.
So I hope.
RIP Old Flash Drive, and welcome to the mania New One.

So now that my materialism is all out of my system, I am working on my art. However, I seem to have reverted to my old snail's pace. I promise I'll get some writing done, but the real world and my lack of motivation have combined to become the worst final boss ever.

Pfft. That sucks! No backups? Oh geeze... That sucks! But hey, buck up. I got my flash drive, my iPod, (The new generation) and $50 bucks stolen from my purse a few months ago, and my jump drive not only had my stories, (Which is bad enough!) but pictures from several very important events in my little brother and sister's lives, AND several birthdays of friends and family members, and a vacation to Hawaii. :/
